Welcome to the website of the Rozzano Locsin Institute (RLI) for the advancement of Technological Competency as Caring in Nursing and Health Sciences. It is an institute founded on the mission to further the development and practice impact of the theory of Technological Competency as Caring in Nursing and Health Sciences. Through the process of “knowing persons as caring,” designing, developing, and disseminating knowledge of nursing and the health sciences enhance and further the influence of theory-based practices.
In April 1, 2022, with Rozzano Locsin’s retirement from Tokushima University, Dr. Tetsuya Tanioka who is a Professor of Nursing Outcomes Management at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Tokushima University, Japan, a renowned researcher and scholar of Nursing Science with interests in the integration of Nursing, Technology, Caring, within the Health Sciences now directs the institute.
